Privacy Policy

Overview

This privacy policy describes how Berry Development (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with our internal QuickBooks Online integration application (the “Application”).

The Application is a private, internal tool used exclusively by Berry Development to access our own QuickBooks Online company data. It is not offered to, or accessible by, any third-party users or customers.

Data we access

The Application accesses accounting data from our own QuickBooks Online company account through the Intuit QuickBooks Online API. This may include financial transactions, invoices, customer records, vendor records, chart of accounts, and related business data belonging solely to Berry Development.

How we use data

Data retrieved from QuickBooks Online is used exclusively for Berry Development’s internal business operations, including but not limited to: financial reporting, data analysis, record-keeping, and integration with our internal systems.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, lease, or share QuickBooks Online data with any third parties. The data accessed through this Application is used solely by Berry Development for internal purposes.

Data storage & security

OAuth 2.0 access tokens and refresh tokens are stored securely and encrypted at rest. All communication with Intuit’s APIs is conducted over HTTPS/TLS encrypted connections. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect authentication credentials and any data retrieved from QuickBooks Online.

Data retention

Data retrieved from QuickBooks Online is retained only as long as necessary for the business purposes described above. OAuth tokens are refreshed automatically and previous tokens are discarded.

Disconnection

The QuickBooks Online connection can be revoked at any time through the Application or directly through QuickBooks Online settings. Upon disconnection, stored OAuth tokens are immediately deleted and no further API access occurs.
